Cagliari is starting again with Fabio Pisacane. The club has officially renewed the contract of the coach of the First team until June 30, 2028, with an option in favor of the club for an additional season. A choice in line with continuity and programming, which strengthens the bond between the coach and Cagliari, born in 2015 when Pisacane arrived in Sardinia as a player and continued over the years to become a deep relationship with the club and the city. The extension comes after a positive first season at the helm of the team, closed with the achievement of salvation and 14th place in Serie A with 43 points, one of the best results of Cagliari in recent years. Among the strengths of the season also the victories against some big teams in the championship and the growth of several young players. Pisacane, promoted to the guida of the First team in the summer of 2025 after the path in the youth sector, has won the trust of the club thanks to his competence, leadership and work ethic. With the Primavera rossoblù he has achieved important results, including the historic victory of the Coppa Italia category in 2025, the first trophy in the history of the Cagliari youth sector. After the path as a player and then as a coach within the club, the renewal until 2028 confirms the will to continue together a project based on identity, youth valorization and belonging to the rossoblù colors.
