Cagliari is currently facing a market situation regarding Zito Luvumbo, the Angolan winger who will officially return to the club at the start of the 2026/27 season. On June 30, Luvumbo will conclude his loan at Mallorca, where he was unable to save the team from relegation. Sporting director Pietro Accardi confirmed that it is unlikely the player will be part of the Rossoblù project for the upcoming season. At the moment, there are two offers for Luvumbo, one from Italy and one from abroad. The interested clubs are Mallorca and Palermo. The Balearic team has again requested the player, despite not exercising the buyout option of around 4 million euros. On the other hand, Palermo, aiming for promotion, is ready to strengthen its squad with the arrival of the speedy Angolan winger. Luvumbo could therefore play a key role in the future of both teams, while Cagliari continues to monitor the situation.
