The fire was spotted on June 9, 2026 at 18:47 in the locality of S'Abixedda, near the Crai Sport Center, the training base of Cagliari football club. A helicopter from Pula base also intervened to extinguish the flames. The fire was contained before it could jump the road and reach the club's property.
