Cagliari is at the center of several transfer negotiations, with Atalanta seriously targeting midfielder Gianluca Gaetano. Former Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri has identified Gaetano as the ideal player for his midfield trio. The club, led by Tommaso Giulini and new sporting director Pietro Accardi, values the player at around 15 million euros. The negotiation could soon heat up, given the growing interest from other teams. On the incoming front, Cagliari is monitoring defender Andrea Natali, born in 2008 and currently owned by Bayer Leverkusen. With a contract expiring in 2027, his price may decrease in the upcoming summer transfer window. Napoli and Atalanta are also interested in Natali, making the race for his signing very competitive. Additionally, Cagliari is considering young Alessandro Romano, born in 2006, currently owned by Roma and on loan at Spezia. The Sardinian club had already shown interest in Romano last season, and his profile is highly regarded by sporting director Pisacane.
